History

The R.E. Krug Corp. was founded in 1980 as a small contract glazing and aluminum frame fabricating company at the same location that it occupies today. Starting with the rental of a single work bay, it now occupies the entire complement of buildings that constitutes the 190 Oliver Street Industrial Park in North Tonawanda, NY. Despite strong competition during the early years, Krug soon grew into a major supplier of architectural glass and metals. The company also expanded into other related facets of the industry including aluminum doors, glass handrail and decorative architectural panels. In 2008 Krug was purchased by Erik Chretien, a longtime employee of the company. Under the new ownership Krug has grown and will continue to evolve as the construction industry demands.
